This ice cream or sorbet was perfect! The kids had a blast making it with our new juicer and it was so fast and easy. The best part about it is that it’s so healthy, you could eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner. Nothing added, just frozen fruit. Half the fruit I froze myself and the others, I bought at Costco. It really is a simple and quick dessert, the whole thing (without kids) could be made and cleaned up in about 15 minutes! All the kids loved it and they always love to help me in the kitchen so that was an added bonus!

Wow- that looks so good! I would love to try making this. Do you have a recipe posted somewhere? :)

Thanks for the comment Michele, good question, I guess I wasn’t very clear about how we made it. It’s just frozen fruit that we put through our green star juicer (they have an icecream attachment). I used frozen; blueberries, strawberries, mango, and bananas. So if you are into juicing, this is a great juicer and makes wonderful creamy icecreams as well!
Thanks, Jenni! :)
We do have a juicer that we enjoy using (we got it off craigslist!) :) Unfortunately it doesn’t have an ice cream attachment like yours. I’m going to keep mulling this over, though. We do have an ice cream maker… maybe I can come up with something to make a sorbet- especially once we have a freezer full of summer fruits. Thanks for the inspiration! :)
Blessings,
MIchele
