I just watched this very inspiring video with Julia Child on How to Make Croissants, taught by chef Esther McManus.
I think one of these days I’m going to have to try this! I need a little bit more space in my kitchen, and a little more time to spare, but other than that I think I could do it :) This is a great website, I’m sure I will be spending some more time there looking around. Hope you are as inspired as I was! She even makes some croissants with chocolate in the center, now I might have to try them just for that reason :)
Here’s a recipe for Croissants if you are up for the challenge!
This breakfast dish is truly a delicacy. My mom has always made this dish for special occasions such as Christmas morning or even just a lazy Saturday morning when there wasn’t too much work to be done around the farm. This past Christmas she, along with the help of my brother-in-law, made this our families one of the mornings we were at her house. As you can see it, it turned out so good!
This past March, my son, Aidan turned four. I love birthdays. I love the planning, and making the day special. One of my favorite parts of the planning is figuring out what kind of birthday cake I am going to make for the birthday kid. But, I was 9 months pregnant with our fourth child, and knew I could actually deliver any day so I better be creative, and plan to stay off my feet as much as possible!
